A huge thank you goes out to Viking Masonry/Mr. Eric Shallcross – Owner for all the hard work, dedication, time energy in securing down the interior structure of the Mode House. Grateful thanks also goes out to Carolyn Gimbrone and Robert Bowsza for their donation to the Borough in order for Viking Masonry to do this work. Lastly all the volunteers, committee members and residents who cleaned out the interior of the house, multiple times, removing the debris that has accumulated over the past 30+ years…this couldn’t be done without you dedication and time.
Thank you to Cleveland Cliffs in years past, for the clean up work! they removed 6 tons of trash/debris and 78 tires from the property along with clearing out brush and junk tress around the house.
Repairs to the fence are completed. This was a major undertaking and we are so grateful for this work to have been done.
As part of this project, the land surrounding the Mode House will be made into beautiful, public parkland. Complete with open space, trails, playground and native gardens.
